Short answer: yes, the rewards are real, but right now they're very small. Don't count on SNPad as an income.
The launch-day numbers
On 1 November 2026, community users reported about 0.0011 SNPAD per ad. At roughly $0.03 per SNPAD, that's about $0.00003 an ad.
The team estimated a starting limit of about 150 ads a day. Even if you hit that limit every day:
- 150 ads × 0.0011 SNPAD = about 0.17 SNPAD a day
- 0.17 SNPAD × $0.03 = about half a cent a day
- reaching the $10 recommended for a withdrawal would take more than five years
Why it's so low
The team says rewards are deliberately cut down at the start and will rise gradually as the system proves stable. It hasn't given a timeline or a final figure, so I can't promise where they'll end up.
The announced model is for viewers to get up to 70% of what an ad costs. What that means in practice depends on what advertisers pay, and ad revenue wasn't confirmed at launch.
What could change
- If rewards rise, the sums above change a lot.
- The value of SNPAD can move either way and can fall to zero.
- How many ads you see depends on how much you watch the 4 active channels.
Is it worth it?
If you already own a compatible LG TV, setup takes a few minutes and you don't have to pay anything. Treat it as a free experiment, not a source of money.
I'll update this page when the numbers change.
